Job Description
- Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods and materials.
- Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to schedule deliveries and resolve any logistical issues.
- Monitor and optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality and compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, customs paperwork, and other regulatory requirements for domestic and international shipments.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the logistics process.
- Support the implementation of new logistics technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
- Provide regular reports on logistics performance metrics to management and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation management, and inventory control.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for process improvement.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
