Job Description
- Guide and contribute to the formulation and implementation of the overall strategies and plans.
- Devise and articulate the marketing strategy for the HBE Company business towards the achievement of overall BU objectives.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the marketing strategy across the different units / portfolios, through leading the marketing team via plans' formulation, objective setting, performance management, staff development and motivation, all in order to ensure the highest levels of performance.
- Fortify current portfolio in line with current market dynamics, growth rates and consumer needs.
- Thorough and consistent assessment of the market and relevant stakeholders towards the identification of potential slots of opportunity. This is to make sure that potential future markets are monitored on an-going basis to make sure relevant and potential opportunities are slotted into the marketing strategy / plan.
- Discuss and agree plans setting and implementation of individual brand / portfolio strategies and an enhanced brand equity, via marketing mix plans, marketing and advertising activities as well as target setting.
- Ensure the HBE product portfolio is as balanced and diverse enough, to coincide with current and feasible future opportunities for the business.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the comprehensive and individual marketing communications strategy towards guaranteeing that the target message for each brand are high on reach relevant to stakeholders.
- Direct the thorough monitoring and assessment of current and potential competitor activity on an-ongoing basis in order to support the achievement of a sustainable competitive advantage and towards the development and sustenance of a pro-active side to the business.
- Prepare and manage annual department budgets to ensure effective cost management.
- Contribute to the development of export markets in order to maximize the potential of overseas market growth and support the achievement of corporate export sales objectives.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any relevant discipline.
- MBA is a Must.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 15-year experience in FMCG marketing, preferably within a multinational organization
- Demonstrable track record of achievement in FMCG marketing
- In depth knowledge and understanding of FMCG market characteristics and dynamics
- Well-developed financial knowledge and understanding
