Job Description
An Engineering Construction & Contracting Company in the field of Infrastructure looking for a Finance Manager. The successful candidate shall oversee all functions of the organization’s finance and accounting department.
Roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
- High-level financial reporting and analysis for developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Regular budget consolidation & Cash flow management
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Stakeholder management (Banks, Subsidiaries, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors)
- Debt management and collection
- Preparing statutory statements (including taxation) whilst ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferably with an MBA)
- At least 15 years of previous experience
- Strong knowledge in the public contracting sector (National projects assigned by the government)
- Excellent analysis and numerical skills
- Well-developed leadership and communication skills
- Computer literacy and familiarisation with financial software
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
