Job Description
- Perform regular inventory audits to check accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Calculate inventory reserves for risks like obsolescence and shrinkage.
- Determine inventory costs using methods like FIFO.
- Conduct monthly physical inventory counts.
- Analyze inventory data to find trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare inventory reports, including turnover, days on hand, and aging analysis.
- Provide recommendations to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Work with auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to improve inventory replenishment and manage supplier relationships.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,
- 1-3 years of experience in Cost accounting or Inventory management fields.
- Preferred to have experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
- Trainings or post-graduate studies in Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems as well as Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
