Job Description
DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and improving the infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The role includes ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams, optimizing deployment processes, and maintaining high availability of systems.
Automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Work closely with developers to ensure reliable application delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable software delivery.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure and applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code and smooth deployment processes.
- Ensure security and compliance in infrastructure and deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot issues across the infrastructure and applications as they arise.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Maintain and enhance automation scripts for build and deployment processes.
- Attend daily stand-ups and provide support to development and IT teams.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and system audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related field.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or similar
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Expertise in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
