Job Description
- Plan, organize, and manage international and local procurement and logistics activities
- Coordinate import operations, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and managing customs clearance
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to track and expedite shipments
- Ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations
- Work closely with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate terms, and resolve issues
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability
- Analyze supply chain data and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and vendor performance
- Coordinate with finance for timely payments, cost tracking, and budgeting
