Job Description
- Reports directly to Senior Supervisor Facility Engineer
- Directs workers engaged in OHS Activities.
- Follow up & fulfill all OHS requirements to obtain the necessary buildings’ operation certifications from the concerned authorities.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Assist in the implementation of the Health and safety policy requirements.
- Assist in ensuring that all machinery, equipment and tools are maintained in safe working order.
- Assist in ensuring that all fire services installations and fire escapes are maintained in good working order.
- Assist in preparing and submitting the statutory reports.
- Carry out risk assessment and prepare safety method statements, including control measures for high and medium risk activities as necessary.
- Organize/conduct safety training courses and seminars, and prepare training records.
- Keep all staff informed of the Safety Policy and take all reasonably practicable steps for carrying it out.
- Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are used whenever appropriate.
- Make sure that workers work in compliance with the OHS and its regulations
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. electrical from a reputed university
- (5-8) years’ experience in the OHS field in buildings such as office buildings, hotels or large residential complex.
- Age: not more than 32 years’ old
- Relevant overseas /international proven experience would be an advantage
- Practical, hands on experience with OHS systems, equipment & tools.
- Intensive exposure to light current systems (CCTV, fire alarm, access control…..etc.).
- leading character and strong personality, goal oriented management style, able to work with people at all levels
- Ability to motivate workers and develop and establish effective working relationships with other employees.
- Very good in the English language spoken and written.
- Computer literate (MS windows/office & AutoCAD)
