Job Description
Job Purpose:
Managing all food-related functions and Works with other teams to improve customer satisfaction.
Accountabilities:
- Control and direct the food preparation process
- Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations
- Supervises and coordinates activities for all kitchen staff
- Providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching for all kitchen staff when needed
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene
- Ensure safety standards are maintained in the kitchen
- Arrange for repairs when necessary
- Interviewing and hiring new staff
- Maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins
- Document and update all menu items recipes
- Assist in training needs analysis of Kitchen staff
Job Requirements
- Proven restaurant experience is a must.
- Bachelor Degree
- 10 years of proven work experience as a head chef
- Communication and leadership skills
- Good Microsoft office user
- Good English Language
