Easy Facility Management is seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our Facility team.
Job Description
- Create accurate purchase orders by verifying specifications and pricing for project and stock products, and submit these orders to vendors, following up to confirm receipt.
- Verify that all requisitions are converted into purchase orders to meet fulfillment and installation deadlines.
- Enter backorders and provide regular updates on their status, coordinating substitute items as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure all products are purchased within established price guidelines and applicable discounts, escalating any pricing discrepancies with vendor orders.
- Record order acknowledgments and expected delivery dates from vendors for submitted orders.
- Manage vendor returns, aged inventory, and canceled orders, coordinating resolutions for issues such as over or under orders.
- Oversee the product coding process in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review supplier invoices against purchase orders and warehouse receipts to ensure a successful three-way matching process.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in services is a must.
- Oracle User is a must.
- Very Good computer literacy.
- Facility Management background is preferable
- Very Good standard of written and spoken English.
- knowledge of vendor sourcing practices & Inventory Management is a plus
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
