Instrumentation Engineer

We are looking for applicants who is focused on the management of advanced equipment used to
monitor and control machinery in water/wastewater industries.

He will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment
which is used to monitor and control water/wastewater systems, machinery and processes.
 

Your job is to make sure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
Some of the instruments and tasks may include:
 

Laboratory Analytical instruments and Online process instruments, on-site installation and
commissioning, services , maintenance, calibration, AMC/CMC Contract Selling, Spares &
consumables Business for revenue generation for Analytical Instruments includes all water quality
Instruments, Auto Sampler, Density Meter, Viscosity Meter, Gas Chromatographs, Bomb
Calorimeter’s, Universal testing machines , Bruker Optical emission spectrophotometer’s, Material
Characterization, Protein Analyzers, BUCHI and IKA GmbH Distillation systems, HACH UV
Spectrophotometers, Particle analysers, Bruker Handheld XRF’s, NETZSCH DSC systems, water
meters, ETC.

Product Handling: Fluke, Megger, HellermannTyton, Festo, E&H, Sick, Wika, ABB, Schneider,
Siemens, Etc.
 

Handling electrical equipment’s as well like VSD/VFD, Motor, Generator, Transformer, Cables, Relay,
etc.
 

• Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  Reviewing RFQs, technical specifications in order to prepare detailed technical proposal for
  them.
• Demonstrating how a product meets a client’s needs
• Carrying out Negotiations & Finalization of order.
• Liaising with both current and potential clients to develop existing and new business
  opportunities.
• Identifying the customer’s current and future requirements.
• Providing sales support during virtual and onsite client meetings,
• Travelling to visit potential clients.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports status reports, including activity, closings followup to goal.
• Ensuring that sales targets are met.
• Communicate with suppliers.
• Motivating the team including sales counter to achieve monthly and yearly target.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to the payment collection, outstanding
  systems & procedures as per company policies.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of materials on time.
• Provide on -the -job training to new sales employees,
• Doing analysis about the competitor’s product, their cost and market share.
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
• Liaison & coordination with overseas principal, local consultant & contractor
• Reviewing inventory and maintain stock level.
• Advertising products through e-marketing, Implementing trade promotion, developing field
  sales action plans.
• Technical support via Teamviewer
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Capacity to work under pressure.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Team Management
- Managing team entailing orientation, career development & grievance handling.
- Planning deployment of manpower as per skills and requirements and ensuring adherence to all
norms with maintenance of discipline.
- Maintaining large taskforces entailing orientation, training, coaching, performance review,
appraisal, remuneration and career development.
- Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with others for smooth working of
operations.
- Liaising with external agencies, consultants on determining technical specifications, approvals for
smooth execution & obtaining on-time clearances.
