Job Description
As a Product Designer at Better Home, you will be responsible for designing a wide range of furniture products from concept through to production. This will involve creating detailed designs using Rhino, producing technical drawings with CAD software, and selecting suitable materials that are both sustainable and market-relevant. You will work closely with our production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet our quality standards, as well as with our marketing team to ensure products align with brand and customer expectations.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop furniture products using Rhino3D, adhering to project briefs and timelines.
- Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for production using CAD software.
- Research and source materials that are innovative, sustainable, and available in the market.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve any potential design issues.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure product designs align with brand identity and market trends.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture design industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field from AUC, GUC, BUE, GIU,CIC, MIU, MSA or any reputable university.
- Proficiency in Rhino3D for product design.
- Strong skills in CAD software for creating detailed technical drawings.
- Experience in material selection and knowledge of market-available materials.

- Excellent understanding of furniture design trends, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous furniture design projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
