Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced (CPA/SOCPA) certified consultant with a university degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 13 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate must have a CPA certification and must be fluent in both Arabic and English. Previous expertise in Saudi Arabia is preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead complex government projects in the financial services sector.
  • Provide expert financial consultancy services to clients on a variety of accounting and financial matters.
  • Conduct external audits and reviews of financial statements.
  • Provide assistance in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on financial reporting and compliance matters.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Lead a team of professionals to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Full ability to understand the procedures for preparing strategic and general budget estimates for government entities, agencies, and mega projects.
  • Ability to perform gap analysis of current budget and financial planning model.
  • Preparing and evaluating current financial planning policies and procedures to assess the availability and completeness of all financial planning pillars.
  • Evaluate the relevant technical systems used in the entity and their compliance with the basic requirements of budgeting and financial planning.
  • Design targeted financial planning and budgeting operational model in accordance with best practices and business requirements (governance framework, responsibilities, intersections with other departments in line with business requirements, internal and external relations, communication channels including strategic management, subsidiaries, and review and updating of the current organizational structure and development of tasks and responsibilities specific to financial planning and budget management).
  • Developing a med-term financial planning methodology.
  • Developing models that support the implementation of the financial planning process.
  • Ability to develop a financial model using Microsoft Excel to prepare the annual and med-term budget for three years.
  • Conduct budget discussion workshops with departments and related parties.

Job Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

 (CPA/SOCPA) certification is a must.

 A minimum of 13 years of experience in financial consultancy, external audit (preferably in a Big 4 firm), and project management.

 Fluent in Arabic and English.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
