Job Description
- The ideal candidate should have a blend of Ecommerce and Operations experience, enabling him/her to lead this role. The candidate is expected to cover the following:
- E Commerce site content: Prepare visual and textual content in Arabic and English for products, and promotions. Coordinate with the design and technical teams to have the content prepared and published online.
- E Commerce Functionality: Enhance the E commerce web/mobile functionality, integration and reporting by giving clear requirements to the technical team and supervising the implementation process.
- Sales Management: Monitor the sales and customer interactions to improve sales and achieve targets in terms of sales, products, promotions…etc.
- Promotions: Activate various sales promotions such as coupons, discounts, Combos…etc. to increase sales and achieve targets.
- Budgeting: The manager is expected to constantly plan the marketing spending budget, and monitor the actual spending in relation to the plan. When necessary, he is expected to take actions to increase or control the budget.
- Sales /Marketing Analysis: The manager is expected to create, generate and constantly study business reports to analyze the marketing and sales results in short and long term basis. The manager is expected to set targets and KPIs for the business in terms of sales and marketing to insure
- Vendor and shipment management: it is expected to search/communicate with different vendors, negotiate about raw material and price, and follow up the shipments until reaching the WH.
- General Management Tasks: the manager is expected to perform basic management functions like people management, budgeting, reporting, and communication with different teams of management across the organizations.
- Digital marketing : implement and manage SEO / SEM best practices, Establish, maintain, and monitor SEO, SEM, Google AdWords, Social Media & content marketing
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts
- Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists
Job Requirements
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- English Professional working proficiency
- Shopify experience
- Experience: 7-10 years in e commerce and sales
