Job Description
- Studying the features of all products on offer.
- Handle customer sales and purchase requests
- Arranging stock in a manner that is both visually appealing and allows ease of movement.
- Create and maintain a professional, welcoming experience for showroom customers
- Maintain current knowledge of inventory and sales trends
- Conduct sales meetings with clients
- Develop and maintain business relationships
- Develop new business leads
- Advising Purchasers on items that ought to be restocked or removed from the catalog.
- Negotiating prices and payment plans, and then closing sales.
- Resolving strain and conflict between staff to promote a jovial and productive workplace.
- Documenting sales and rewarding employees for these accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in interior design or other related field
- 2+ years experience in a showroom management role
- Strong knowledge of design trends, sales strategies, and showroom operations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to achieve sales target
- Ability to effectively manage staff and resources
- The ability to be competitive while maintaining the client’s best interests
- Strong customer service and negotiation expertise
- Team leadership
