Job Description
- Working under Chief-Accountant coverage
- Review the authenticity, legality and completeness of the original foreign exchange commercial docs provided by the International trade departments
- Fill in the bank of accounting vouchers based on the original documents that have been reviewed and correct.
- Review and organize documents related to foreign exchange settlement and foreign exchange purchase, and register foreign exchange classified ledger.
- Register foreign exchange accounting according to the summary table of foreign exchange accounting vouchers
- Settlement of foreign exchange general ledger and sub-category ledger, and reconciliation between general ledger and detailed ledger to ensure consistency of accounts.
- Collect relevant information according to the reporting requirements of commercial banks, CBE and Egyptian Gov Authorities, prepare reports and submit them to the banks if required.
- Handle foreign exchange bank deposits, remittances, transfers and other bank settlement services
- Conduct regular reconciliations with banks, fill in bank statements, and prepare bank balance reconciliation statements
- Keep detailed records of letters of guarantee and letters of credit issued in Foreign Exchange and enter them into the database
- Fill out, send, classify and save all kinds of letters and e-mails to banks in field of Foreign Exchange.
Job Requirements
- 0-2 years experience in accounting, auditing, banking or marketing.
- Bank experience is a plus.
- Fluend English in writing and speaking as working language is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, Marketing or business administration and etc, graduated from Cairo University or Alexandria University.
- Basic knowledge in import and export business and regulation of Egyptian laws on international trade.
- Basic skill and knowledge in shipping docs of international trade.
- Advanced skills in MS office suits.
- Sensitivity to data and number is requried.
- Female candidates are welcome.
- Candidate from New Cairo is a plus.
