Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Front Office who is fluent in German to join our team. The Assistant Director of Front Office (German Speaker) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk and guest services, while providing exceptional customer service to our German-speaking guests. 

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, room reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure they deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, such as coordinating room assignments with housekeeping and working closely with the concierge team.
- Manage the hotel's reservation system and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of room availability, rates, and guest preferences.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate changes or training programs.
- Act as a liaison between the front office and other hotel departments to ensure open lines of communication and efficient operations.
- Stay updated on hotel policies, services, and facilities to provide accurate information to guests and promptly address any inquiries.
- Assist the Director of Front Office in developing and implementing strategies to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Handle escalated guest issues or difficult situations with professionalism and discretion.

Candidate Requirements:
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory. Additional languages (Russian-Arabic) are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hotel industry, with a strong emphasis on guest service and front desk operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and resolve guest-related issues.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced work environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in using hotel reservation systems and software, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant technology.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to confidently interact with guests, staff, and management.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to guests.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the role requires.
