Job brief
- The commercial Accountant position is to ensure the efficient running of an organization’s accounts and represent the link between the financial department and sales operation.
- The main function is to confirm that the right pricing, contracts, and offers are aligned with company KPIs and SOPs
- Also, it is including everyday duties such as general entries, balance sheets, ledgers, reporting and advice management on tax issues, budgets and forecast and planning.
- Commercial accountants should work closely with staff at all levels in an organization, responsible for running a portfolio of important clients, improve internal controls, participate effectively in new business ventures which include product launches, and maintain relationships with clients. A Commercial accountant should also know how to alleviate risks, execute operational audits, draft audit reports, conduct testing and impromptu investigations, as well as ability to develop business and networks for the company.
Job Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Third-level qualification in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis.
- 3+ years post-qualified experience.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance roles.
- SAP user
- Demonstrated experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
- System savvy with reporting experience.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with exceptional time-management skills.
Ability to drive projects to completion when starting with unknowns, competing priorities and other challenges
