Job Description
Mission of the position:
The Human Resources (HR) Officer supports the HROD Director in administrating the personnel
administration according to national legislation and the HR Manual, in preparing the payroll and
providing organisational support in recruitment processes in the member association.
Main clients:
· HROD Director, Finance Director
· CVPD, location line managers, location accountant
· Location staff
Key performance areas and main responsibilities:
· Supports the HROD Director in administrative matters in the field of personnel administration.
· Is responsible for maintaining the personnel files (contract, signed Code of Conduct, signed
Safeguarding policy, signed job description, recruitment, onboarding documentation, individual
work plans, all personnel documentation acc. to national labour law and HR Manual).
· Is responsible for maintaining the personnel database if exist
· Supports preparation of employment contracts and registration process with Social security
· Supports preparation of end of contract documents (clearance form, certificate of employment…)
· Prepares HR monthly reporting
Payroll
· Prepare payroll internal and external documents
based on clear role & responsibility division of HR and Finance
· Prepare the End of Service payment, calculate end of service clearance in cooperation with
finance department and ensure timely payment for departing employees.
· Validate all payroll results in coordination with Finance before payroll closure.
· Answer employees’ inquires on payroll related issues and handle received complaints together
with direct supervisor.
· Prepare the annual list for the Social Security
· Prepare any needed documents related to the social security
· Prepare the needed documents for the income taxes payments
Recruitment
· Supports in recruitment processes with advertising vacant positions, arranges for tests, prepares
interview packs, sends out rejection/regret emails based on interview scores, prepares long list
applicants for HROD Director for shortlisting
· Conducts reference checks and police record checks
· Sends job offer to successful candidate and arranges for the relevant documentations to be
handled to HR department to proceed with hiring procedures
Direct supervisor: HROD Director, CVPD Cairo for location HR tasks
Job Requirements
Must criteria
- Degree in field of Human Resources, Finance
- At least 2 years of continuous work experience, preferably in NGOs
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Excellent computer literacy
- Good communicaton and organisational skills
- Accuracy and trustworthiness
- Team player
