Senior Infrastructure Officer

Job Summary: The Senior Infrastructure Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all technical operations. The role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies and the ability to work closely with other departments to support the company’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure systems comply with industry regulations and standards, including data protection.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage tools for monitoring the performance of infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring that services are delivered according to SLAs.
• Project Management: Lead infrastructure projects, from planning and design to implementation and support, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, particularly IT, development, and operations, to understand their infrastructure needs and develop solutions.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the infrastructure budget, optimizing spending and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing new technologies to enhance the company’s infrastructure.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure systems, processes, and procedures.
