Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: month and end-year process accounts payable/receivable cash receipts general ledger payroll and utilities treasury, budgeting cash forecasting revenue and expenditure variance analysis capital assets reconciliations trust account statement reconciliations, check runs fixed asset activity debt activity.
- Managing all aspects of projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and supervising work crews.
- Monitoring project costs and scheduling for on-time completion of projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction projects, products, and services.
- Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicate project updates and changes to all parties involved.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor project progress and budget, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Generate reports detailing project status, budget, and other relevant information.
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, or related field.
- 8:12 years' experience as an accounting manager.
- 5+ years' experience working in construction accounting or finance.
- Experience in ERP system, Odoo, or Sap.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Master's degree CPA or CMA other professional accounting certification is a plus.
