Job Description
- Create, Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- train and coach sales team, and monitor their performance
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
- forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
- Setting up sales projections and budgets.
- Monitoring the quality of sales data and making any necessary improvements.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
