Job Description
As a Steel Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Designing and analyzing steel structures according to relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, Staad Pro, Idea Statica, Sap 2000).
2. Preparing detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
3. Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
4. Collaborating effectively with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
5. Reviewing shop drawings and providing technical clarifications.
6. Solving technical issues that may arise during design and construction phases.
7. Contributing to the development and improvement of design processes and standards.
8. Potentially managing smaller projects or specific aspects of larger projects.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2. 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the design and analysis of steel structures.
3. Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards.
4. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, Idea Statica, STAAD.Pro).
5. Excellent drafting skills and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
