Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings. You will work closely with architects, consultants, and construction teams to ensure the structural integrity, safety, and cost-efficiency of our real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform structural analysis using appropriate software and methodologies.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams throughout all project phases.
  • Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections.
  • Review contractor/shop drawings and respond to RFIs related to structural works.
  • Evaluate and propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost and time.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance procedures.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in structural design, preferably within the real estate development or construction sector.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Solid knowledge of concrete and steel structures and foundation systems.
  • Familiarity with international and local design codes (e.g., ACI, BS, ECP).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-rise or large-scale residential/commercial developments.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) are a plus.
  • Previous work experience with real estate developers or consultancy firms.
