Job Description
- Work Instructions & SOPs: Develop and issue comprehensive work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operators to ensure consistent and efficient production processes.
- Machine Assessment Reports: Prepare detailed machine assessment reports to evaluate the mechanical and electrical efficiencies and capabilities of current production machines.
- Process Data Monitoring: Monitor and analyze process data, identifying trends and potential issues. Propose and implement solutions for continuous process improvement.
- Process Optimization: Implement process optimization strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing cycle times, and improving overall product quality.
- Process Validation: Lead and support process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards.
- Machine Handover Support: Follow up on new lines handover processes from suppliers during machine setup, ensuring all mechanical components are functioning to specification and meeting quality standards.
- Collaboration with Product Development: Support and coordinate with Product Development and Industrial Design teams in the new product definition phase, ensuring that processes and equipment are aligned with product requirements.
- Engineering Change Management: Manage the implementation of engineering changes on the production line, ensuring all changes are integrated seamlessly into operations.
- Production Rates & Time Calculations: Calculate production rates, production time, and station movement on production lines, providing actionable recommendations to optimize performance.
- Workstation & Environment Preparation: Prepare and set up workstations and production environments to maximize efficiency and ensure worker safety and comfort.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in process optimization, machine efficiency, and production improvement.
- Strong understanding of process data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in preparing and issuing work instructions and SOPs.
- In-depth knowledge of machinery and mechanical/electrical components.
- Ability to calculate production rates and station movements to optimize production efficiency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for process validation.
- Proficient in using engineering and process management software tools.
