Job details:

  • Minimum level of experience is 10 years.
  • Location: Cairo office / Ain Sokhna.
  • Full-time job (Day shift)
  • Will be reporting to the general legal counsel.
  • Work scope will be engaged with all departments.

 

Job description:

 

  • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and taking appropriate action to create awareness.
  • Developing, enrolling, and maintaining policies and collaborating with the line management of all departments.
  • overseeing and advising on compliance and regulatory matters; educating and training employees on regulations and industry practices.
  • Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance.
  • Managing regulatory compliance issues including incident management.
  • quarterly compliance reporting, improve efficiency and effectiveness of group compliance reporting.
  • Providing compliance and legal training developing e-learning and webinars, and maintaining procedures that ensure the company complies with applicable legislation and Code of Conduct.
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
  • Lead and commit to Safety rules and standards in every aspect in the Facility.
  • Sharing information and reporting any incidents or near-miss to take immediate remedial action.
  • Play an administrative role in making sure that the environmental organizational objectives comply with the environmental rules & regulations in areas such as air quality, waste, water, and pollution.

Job Requirements

Qualifications, skills, and competencies required:

  • Master's degree in law (compliance and Management)
  • 10 years relevant working experience within an (international) law firm or Multinational company combined with at least 5 years of working experience as a compliance officer.
  • Highly proficient in the use of PC, especially report writing (word processing), spreadsheets (Excel), and graphical presentation (e.g. Freelance and PowerPoint)
  • high standard of integrity, business ethics
  • Excellent command of English (both oral and written)
  • Must have the following interpersonal skills:
