Job Description

We are looking for a sales engineer to assist with the selling of automation products & services. 

The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.

The Ideal Candidate should show very good skills in understanding various customers’ needs and possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. A Sales Engineer should be driven to achieve his sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with new company products as well as industry trends.
  • Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
  • Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Following up all inquiries, negotiating contracts and preparing proposals.
  • Identify customers' needs and give formal and informal presentations.
  • Keeping in touch with current clients for after sales service.
  • Prepares various sales reports and sales activity reports.
  • Communicates closely with others departments regarding customer needs.

Job Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Education: B.Sc. of Engineering (Electrical or Communications), Computer science, computer engineering or related field.
  • Experience years: 3 years as a Sales Engineer, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
