The Position
As Wash developer you will be responsible for product wash development, from sample until production execution for Tommy Hilfiger Denim all genders and categories and collaborate with different teams.
Assist the manager for the day-to-day execution and operations in line with the brand’s strategy to achieve KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the efficient operations and execution of all the TH Denim activities (all Division) in Egypt , collaborating with different partners, representing the best interests of brand and PVH internally and externally.
• Need to have global mind set of sourcing strategy at the best interest of brand and oversee the brand strategic development and implement sourcing solutions that meet the needs of the brand.
• Wash development from 1 proto until Sms execution.
• Validation Sms wash before shipping.
• Sign off target for Production.
• Sign shade band of production.
• Validation of test new fabric - quality and testing
• Quality check in final buck for wash
• Improve wash for testing
• Support or train other countries is need.
• Manage the day-to-day execution and business operations to ensure KPI’s achieved.
• Vendor relationship maintenance and development
• Work with vendors to assure sustainable product and update the system for green wash.
• Support peers on all Product development queries from the Design and Merchandise team with the best open and collaborative attitude.
• Implement based on compliance and CSR/Sustainability goals and objectives.
• Deliver against product and service level agreements and cost objectives from the brand.
• Improve the process of washing and delivery
Job Requirements
• Degree in Textiles, Fashion or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in apparel sourcing/merchandising/brand management/denim production
• Experience in sourcing and production processes within ready-made garments resolving production issues & engaging with vendors,
• Extensive knowledge on wash- and garment dye processes and chemical products
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive conversations with Vendors, Design and Development/Production stakeholders.
• Ability and experience in developing supply chain capabilities.
• Strengthen and support vendors to optimize collaboration
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
• Compute literate Position available for Egyptian nationals only
