Job Description
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations for financial results.
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure accuracy in recording financial transactions.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor and address discrepancies in financial records.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in evaluating the financial impact of business initiatives and proposals.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes and enhancements.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role, with at least 5 of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge in Odoo Software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
