DevOps Engineer : 4+ Years Experience As Devops

A- Responsibilities



• Works closely with Head of Infrastructure and Tech Lead to co-design, set up, and operationalize production-ready infrastructure to serve containerized applications
• Provide Hands-on Planning, Design, Implementation & Support for container orchestrator platform
• Ensure appropriate performance configuration for high availability and scalability
• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools – to alert and catch spots to improve
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning
• Design and implement standard software delivery pipeline
• Deploy and evolve CI/CD tooling providing suitable documentation to speedup software development
• Define and ensure best practices in software development
• Designs CI/CD pipeline that adopts security best practices such as rigid access control, segregation of duties, and secrets managements.

B- Key skills

Domain Expertise

• Excellent coding and scripting skills (Bash, Python) and experience in deploying large-scale architectures using modern cloud-based container platforms (PaaS/SaaS).
• Working knowledge infrastructure provisioning such as Terraform and configuration management such as Ansible.
• Experience administering production-grade Kubernetes cluster
• Experience in continuous integration and related tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, NPM, Maven, Git, Sonarqube, etc.
• Experience in testing practices for both Apps and APIs with knowledge in provisioning and test data management
• Agile / Digital Expertise
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer in a cross-functional Agile team preferred

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align the organization on decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it in a clear, simple manner
