Job Description

  • Responsible for the periodic forecast and product availability through weekly stock Analysis
  • Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to secure optimal terms and pricing
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stock outs or overstocks
  • Follow up warehouse stock levels and maintain re-order point 
  • Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate action 
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules
  • Develop a logistical plan through the main hubs to the warehouses to maintain the efficient flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events
  • Adjust inventory plans accordingly to meet changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations
  • Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting
  • Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs clearance is a plus
