South Sound Studios is seeking a skilled and motivated Video Editor to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who’s not only a talented editor but also has a strong understanding of studio lighting and visual quality. You’ll be responsible for editing podcast episodes and creating short-form video content, while ensuring a polished, professional look through lighting and visual consistency.

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
• Review the shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on the scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
