Overview: The Utilities Engineer is responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of utility systems within a chemicals manufacturing facility. This role ensures the efficient and safe delivery of essential utilities such as water, steam, compressed air, and electricity, while adhering to environmental regulations and optimizing resource usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of (thermal oil plant, steam plant, compressed air plant, water treatment plant, vacuum system, cooling plant and generator operation and maintenance)
• Develop and implement utility systems to support manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate utilities with production equipment.
• Monitor and control utility systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of utility equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to utility systems promptly.
• Implement corrective actions to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze energy / water consumption and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on utility systems.
