Job Description
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests on construction materials, structural components, and completed work to verify compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions to ensure project quality and safety.
- Monitor construction processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce rework or defects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits to evaluate compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or complaints related to construction quality and safety, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within the construction industry.
- 5 to 12 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
