Job Description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Customer performance management
- Analyzing Customer data to identify areas for improvement in customer Performance and terminal performance against the SLA, Customer Satisfaction, and Particular Behavior.
- Revenue Management
- Analysing and collecting data from revenue sheets and financial data records to help Revenue Management Assistant Manager in understanding and further predicting of customer behaviour at micro and macro-market levels .
- Reporting
- Maintaining and developing the Commercial database of all pre-set reports by the Commercial Decision makers.
- Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights that support business decisions.
- Create and compile reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings and to help business decision making.
- Collect and analyze data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Preparing of the Weekly Commercial OS Data and Slides.
- Following up on the Automation Plan of the Commercial Reports under guidance from the Customer Relations Assistant Manager
- Communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Volume forecast
- Collaborate with Planning team on analyzing Vessel plans
- Create and compile Weekly and Monthly Volume Reports
- Create and compile Port Rotations Weekly and Monthly map/report
- Customer Relations
- Create and compile Monthly Reports (Customer Performance Management) to the customers.
- Maintenance of DSO Analysis and follow up of gaps on a proactive manner.
- Maintenance of a logfile of the running and closed Customer Business Issue Resolutions. And providing a relative KPIs.
- Contract Management
- Create data base for Customer contracts and Customer Rate Positioning.
- Proactive prediction of expiring contracts.
- Identifying gaps to fill up and to improve in the contracts and maintaining a list of it for future handling. Also consolidating of Customers’ particular feedback on rate items for the Commercial Decision makers to explore possibility to future improve.
- Commercial Strategy Development
- Coordinate with the Direct Manager the PD plan
- Create and compile structured kaizen map and follow up with the direct manager
Update daily/weekly VMS and OS.
- Communicate and coordinate with mid-level management on common business topics between commercial and other departments
- Market intel
- Assist the Customer Relationship Assistant Manager in creating of and analyzing of Market, competition and Customer pulses and dynamics locally, regionally and globally to the possible extent as per laws and compliance to help in better positioning of SCCT.
- Monitoring of the Shipping Lines advisories.
- Research through Market intel resources (Websites, online news wires).
- Helping of the Customer Relationship Assistant Managers in maintenance of the Master Market Intelligence Plan.
