Informatica Developer Job Duties

Informatica developers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Analyzing data to determine structure, creating databases, and developing software applications
  • Creating business requirements documents and translating them into technical specifications for software development teams
  • Developing scripts or programs to automate repetitive tasks in the data management process
  • Evaluating new technologies and recommending changes to existing systems based on their findings
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals, such as system analysts and database administrators, to design new computer programs or update existing ones
