Job Description
As a Senior Developer, you will play an integral role in our engineering team, responsible for developing and maintaining our backend systems, integrating various platforms, and ensuring that our applications are optimized and delivered efficiently.
- Identify and analyze user requirements
- Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle
- Write well-designed, efficient code
- Review, test and debug team members’ code
- Design database architecture
- Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code
- Develop robust APIs to serve the needs
- Set up and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows using GitHub Actions and AWS serverless
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP, especially with Laravel framework
- BSc or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TTD)
- Good delegation and time management skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Extensive knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and AWS serverless architectures
- Proficiency in WordPress customization and plugin development
- Previous experience with payment gateway integration
- Experience with SaaS development, particularly subscription-based models
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
