Technology Product Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Build a sustainable, professional and quality-based Dafater operations environment that is secure and efficient.

Job Purpose:

• Select, build and monitor Dafater Cloud environment and its resources.
• Setup, operate and maintain of Dafater DevOps to achieve Continuous Delivery.
• Manage the cyber security and data protection of Dafater applications, environments, and infrastructure and implement security measures per standards and audit reports.
• Assure the compliance of Dafater with Governments regulations and rules with regards to information, data, hosting, etc.
• Administrate and optimize of Dafater data infrastructure and its access.
• Manage the automation and enablement of Dafater different departments’ processes and their integration to achieve smooth company operations.

Job Description: 

The candidate will be responsible for the following either directly or through his team:

• DevOps
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code, to programmatically deploy and manage complex cloud infrastructure
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflow and manage the deployment of software provided by our Product Development team to the various production environments.
  • Manage the implementation of third-party/in-house utilities to automate/facilitate release activities.
  • Responsible for the Dev-ops Deployment of deferent projects and collect and communicate both qualitative and quantitative data from within and outside the product team.
• Cloud
  • Ensure O&M and assurance of SaaS service, take the lead in technical planning and implementation of SaaS service monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliable emergency response, monitor the running status of various public cloud services (network, database, middleware, and storage), and identify risks. Analyze root causes, propose corresponding technical solutions, and implement the solutions.
  • Operate the software cloud service, formulate operation strategies objectives, take responsibility for the day to day routine.
  • Ensure configuration and fine-tuning of cloud infrastructure systems
  • Support of the cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with application operations teams in implementation of infrastructure components supporting updates to existing technologies and the implementation of emerging technologies and applications
  • Brainstorm with Product Operations Management teams in rolling out new practices and standards across the organization carry responsibility for monitoring the adoption of best practices.
• Compliance
  • Documentation maintained to support compliance of Security and audit requirements.
  • Ensures that the team member/staff are compliant to the policies and standard
  • Assure the compliance of Dafater with Governments regulations and rules with regards to information, data, hosting, etc.
• Cyber Security
  • Implement, and test security measures based on Cyber Security standards.
  • Perform on-going security testing to improve product security.
  • Identify and implement possible automation opportunities in the regular security activities.
  • Monitor & encourage the cyber security team to better protect systems from cyber-attacks and potential hackers and keep an eye on the current processes to safeguard the sensitive data of the business from hackers and cyber-criminals who often create new ways to infiltrate sensitive databases.
• Database Administration & Optimization
  • Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
  • Install, build, configure and tune database systems and carry out capacity planning
  • Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
  • Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query response
• Business Continuity
  • Build Business Continuity Strategy and implement it, update it and test it regularly.

Participates in emergency maintenance or Business Continuity/Disaster recovery as needed in the event of critical outages to ensure productivity impact is minimized; includes working directly with the relevant teams
