Job Description
- Prepare initial design studies and alternative adaptations.
- Prepare architectural schematic, design development and detailed drawings.
- Assists in the preparation of tender drawings and BOQ.
- Prepare and issue necessary shop drawings for all allocated tasks.
- Review and check as-built drawings.
- Follow up Subcontractor's progress.
- Ensure interface issues are coordinated with other disciplines
- Review design drawings and ensure coordination with different departments/disciplines.
- Follow up and Coordinate approvals from the client before IFC.
- Develop architectural drawings based on client feedback, project cost, and time estimates of the project for final acceptance of a client and top management.
- Study and prepare RFIs for various projects.
Job Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Strong Architectural design skills Up-to-date industry knowledge regarding materials, trends, and building codes.
- Strong proficiency in CAD, REVIT,
- 3DMax, Corona, V-ray, Photoshop, Rhino& InDesign, or similar programs or software and tools related to Architectural Department is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local authorities, governmental regulations and codes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern construction techniques and high tech. materials.
- Strong design sense with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills and a collaborative work ethic are essential.
- Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken).
- Preferably a candidate from consultant firms.
- Sustainability / Green Buildings knowledge is a plus.
