Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a critical part in maintaining cash flow and supporting the financial health of the engineering supplies company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue invoices to customers promptly and accurately. 
• Monitor incoming payments, apply cash receipts, and resolve any discrepancies. 
• Reconcile accounts receivable with general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records. 
• Engage with customers regarding payment inquiries, outstanding invoices, and collections. 
• Generate AR reports to track outstanding balances, aging, and cash flow forecasts. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
