Job Description
- A Physician, or Doctor, is responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with a range of potential illnesses, injuries or disabilities.
- Their duties include conducting routine physical examinations on patients, referring patients to medical specialists or counseling services and prescribing patients medications based on their condition.
- Conduct examinations to ill patients and evaluate symptoms to determine their condition.
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on scientific knowledge and the patient’s medical history.
- Prescribe and interpret lab tests to obtain more information for underlying infections or abnormalities.
- Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration.
- Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians when needed .
Keep records of patients’ diseases, operations or other significant information (e.g. allergic episodes)
Job Requirements
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Medicine or Nursing.
- Flexibility to work with a variety of people, differing in ages, personalities and backgrounds.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills to work efficiently with others to provide new ideas and help inspire staff and management.
- Time management skills to be able to see a high number of patients.
- Interpersonal skills, compassion and empathy to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
