Job Description
• Ownership of Building Management Systems (BMS) for projects on a nationwide basis including technical delivery against scope, schedule, and budget in division of (BMS Senior Pre sales technical support Engineer)
• Leadership of all technical BMS requirements for the wider business
• Drive compliance and standardization, process improvement and adoption and utilization of tools and initiatives
• Review of incoming sales and project documentation for impact to the project scope, schedule, and budget
• Leadership of technical BMS submittals and all relevant documentation to various stakeholders
• Prepare work packages for team members (local and remote)
• Utilize offshore and remote engineering resources efficiently to minimize costs and reduce the local requirement of performing repetitive and non-value adding tasks
• Manage effective communications with all project stakeholders
• Assist the supply chain as necessary with product and services specifications and negotiations
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, electronic, controls, mechatronic).
• Suitable BMS engineering background including advancement to a BMS Project Management (TPM) and / or consulting role or similar
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in BMS systems including extensive pre sales project studying knowledge
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written as well as interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a technical project team, work co-operatively and provide technical direction in a team environment
• Proven track record in a BMS systems capacity which includes delivery of large and complex BMS technology-based projects
• Ability to work under pressure
• A strong commitment to safety and safe working environment
• Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives
• Ability to identify technical BMS solutions to customer needs
• BMS pre sales technical & Financial and project management acumen
