Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage large-scale, high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Standardize and implement project management processes and methodologies tailored to manufacturing environments
- Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring they meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and company Objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, manufacturing and operations, to drive the successful execution of projects
- Lead project planning, execution, and monitoring efforts for large-scale initiatives
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project managers overseeing manufacturing projects
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout project execution
- Facilitate communication and reporting between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
- 3+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles within a manufacturing environment, with proven delivery of large-scale projects
- Strong engineering background, with in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and systems
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, etc.)
- Extensive experience managing complex, high-budget, and high-visibility projects from initiation to completion
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage senior leadership and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, production, and quality teams
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt)
- PRINCE2 or other PMO-related certifications
- Experience with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
