Job Description

Preparation of Engineering Drawings:

  • Prepare shop drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit in coordination with the relevant consultant.
  • Review and approve shop drawings in coordination with the owner’s consultant and suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications.

Review of Technical Documents:

  • Study and analyze contractual documents, including terms and technical specifications, to ensure full compliance throughout project implementation stages.
  • Prepare technical proposals and shop drawings and submit them to management for approval by the owner or consultant.

Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Costs:

  • Prepare and analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQ) according to project type.
  • Provide accurate reports on project-related costs to facilitate comparisons between suppliers.

Quantity Survey and Calculation:

  • Prepare quantity take-offs for the required works and ensure their accuracy in collaboration with field teams based on approved shop drawings.
  • Review and adjust quantity calculations in coordination with contractors and the site engineer during the project implementation period.

Technical Supervision of Execution:

  • Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Provide the necessary technical support to the site team to resolve any technical issues that may arise during execution, in coordination with the Technical Office Manager.

Report Preparation:

  • Prepare periodic reports on work progress and technical updates and submit them to the Technical Office Manager.
  • Review and archive project records to ensure all execution phases are well-documented.

Coordination with Consultants and Contractors:

  • Attend technical meetings with consultants and clients to follow up on project progress and discuss any modifications or updates.
  • Follow up on consultants’ reviews and approval of final drawings.

Provision of Technical Support:

  • Provide full technical support to execution teams during the project to ensure implementation aligns with approved technical proposals and shop drawings.
  • Review the items of technical and financial proposals to ensure compliance with the specified technical requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience in infrastructure works is a must from 2 - 4 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Power Engineering or related field
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
