Job Description
What do we expect from you:
Key responsibilities:
- Studying tender specifications in detail
- Follow up a tender schedule with other departments
- Prepare tender pre-qualification documents
- Conduct site visits and report visit findings
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear data, and all other technical matters during tender design state
- Reviews received calculation sheets, drawings, electrical equipment, and civil proposals from other departments
- Follow up with suppliers on technical offers and do comparisons to ensure the lowest price
- Writing and preparing technical proposals
- Preparing tender packaging
- Handing over awarded tenders to the projects department
- Preparing & submitting reports to department senior proposal and technical office leader
- Flags issues to senior leader
- Preparation of technical submittal for all mechanical equipment
- Prepare a load list of all electrical loads of the project
- Support in communication with procurement, design, and engineering departments
Job Requirements
What do you need to perform your role:
To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:
Education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in English languages.
- 1-3 Years of experience
Skills and knowledge:
- Good command of both written and spoken English language
- Basic knowledge in the Water and Wastewater treatment sector.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Naturally collaborative and able to quickly build effective working relationships and influence across the organization
- Resilient and able to manage competing priorities
- Writing & studying Proposal skills.
- Heliopolis, Nasr City, and New Cairo Residences are preferable.
