Job Description
- Provide accurate and timely legal advices/opinions to internal stakeholders in a variety of legal topics (labor law, contracts, dispute resolution, corporate formalities/governance etc.);
- Collaborate with external counsel to devise efficient defense strategies;
- Assist on internal governance policies and conduct internal investigations;
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations;
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advices on possible legal issues;
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, governmental bodies etc.), creating relations of trust;
- Draft and review agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure that the Company’s interests are maintained;
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to internal customers in the organization;
- Conduct assigned tasks with integrity and responsibility;
- Maintain an accurate archive of the closed or ongoing legal matters
- Maintain a solid knowledge of legislative updates.
Job Requirements
- 4-6 years PQE
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures;
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic (ability to draft in both English and Arabic)
- Law Degree from a reputable University
