Job Description
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, settlements, and subpoenas
- Coordinating with clients and attorneys to schedule appointments and other events
- Maintaining client files and records in order to provide legal services efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring that the office runs smoothly by managing the administrative tasks
- Managing office operations to ensure that all staff members have what they need to do their jobs effectively
- Scheduling meetings and other events for clients
- Preparing legal documents such as briefs and
- Communicating with clients to obtain information about cases and ensure that they understand the steps involved in each case
- Reviewing cases for possible settlement opportunities or other legal options that may benefit the client
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 8 to 11 years of related work experience
- proficiency in English is a MUST
- Experience in real estate is a huge plus
- Professional qualifications to include membership in Legal professional body (bodies) is preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory environment affecting legal documentations
- Thorough knowledge of judicial procedures and rules.
- Ability to provide guidance and advice on legal/policy and legislative issues, and the ability to negotiate through collaboration
- Ability to perform legal research
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, recommend and implement solutions in a timely fashion
- Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues
- Highly developed organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are required
- The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
- A demonstrated willingness to engage in professional development activities in order to develop and improve new and current skills, and to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
