Job Description
What do we expect from you:
Key responsibilities:
- Receives project design & sorts needed requirements and studies tenders
- Prepares automation software program at office (PLC, HMI, and SCADA)
- Communicates with O&M team for control philosophy alignment
- Executes I/O testing
- Verify instrumentation installation manuals & supervises installation
- Conducts comparisons between material lists versus reality implementations
- Conducts PLC software uploading & SCADA software implementation
- Conducts the startup of instrumenting & automation equipment
- Executes live trouble shooting of issues on site
- Classic control panels tests and troubleshooting
- Calibrates all instrumentation devices and troubleshooting
- VFDs configuration and programming
- Soft Starters Configuration and programming
- Ensures customer satisfaction level for clients in addition to O&M
- Conducts FAT tests at the factory
- Conducts SAT tests at the site
Job Requirements
What do you need to perform your role:
To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical power engineering or any relevant field
- 3 years of experience
- previous work (Industrial Automation)
- Experience in delivering engineering solutions for control and instruments field. In-depth knowledge of industrial Automation, and highly knowledgeable in designing, programming, configuration and implementing automation equipment
Skills and knowledge:
- Good - Very good command of English language
- Computer skills (Microsoft office; PLC, SCADA)
- Must have a driving license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions
