Job Description
- Review All information received from the Customer at Bidding Stage
- Read customer’s specifications and identify the requirements for scope of supply
- Understands and analyzes the project technical specifications and requirements suchas material grades and buyout items, surface preparation and painting system including Transportations as per Project requirements.
- Study/ Understands the Bill of Quantities and All other items that are to be identified Especially Method of measurement.
- Coordinates with Various Departments Namely Engineering, Fabrication, Shipping etc. for information/ technical specifications when required for estimating.
- Make clarifications with internal departments in order to keep everything is ok and can meet the project requirements
- list down the requirements that are needed to fill project data sheet with Identify any special items ifany (as reference’s)
- Study/ Understands the available Drawingto identify the complexity of the projectand keep sure that we can fabricate withinour facility
- Fabrication man-hours per ton shall be determined on the experience basis for the various categories and nature of work complexity. In case of special complex manufacturing requirements should be highlighted to take the Extra Cost if Any anddiscuss in Details with the Estimating Manager
- Painting costs shall be calculated by latest paint and thinner price Received from paintmanufacturer
- Calculating and preparing estimation cost. With mentioned the relevant Data/Documents/Drawing Receivedfrom Customer during biddingstage
- Review and evaluate Supplier’s proposals for all By-Out items Received from Purchasing and keep Sure that their Offer are meet CustomerRequirement’s
- Prepares the Quotation as per Company’s Standard covering all technical considerations, Assumptions, Exclusions and all Other Standard Terms and Conditions to take in our considerations to cover Our Cost including Markup and Other Commercial issues / Validity of the Quotation.
- Make the Final Revies for All the Above Itemswith Estimating Manager beforeSending Officially to Sales Department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with experience in Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- Strong knowledge in cost estimation within the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects
- Proficiencyin using estimating software and tools
- Real Experience in Tekla, STAAD Pro. &Rivet to do Qty survey (if we have 3D-Module)
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines for Quotation Submission date
