About the Role
We’re looking to hire a very technical Software Tester (Quality Control Engineer) to help improve the quality of the products that we're working on. You're role will be to work alongside management, the engineers and business, to ensure that the requirements are properly delivered and that the code delivered by the development team meets the designed stories.

We are a small agile team, and you'll have the opportunity to work on multiple projects:
- DAZU Pay - a fintech revolutionary product being built
- Mindsalike - an entrepreneur and investor network
- CONNEX - an insurance assistance business product
Job Responsibilities
- Joining the Sprint Planning meetings and understand the stories and requirements for the stories to be delivered
- Writing tests and test cases for the stories
- Running manual UI/UX tests for the product to ensure we're delivering the UI/UX as expected
- Writing automated tests to ensure the product meets expectations (we use multiple tools depending on what section of the applications)
- Raising bugs in JIRA to track issues in the software
- Retesting to ensure the bugs have been properly resolved
- Ensuring our DevOps procedure runs any new tests created to ensure they work as expected
Job Requirements
- BSc or Msc in Computer Science or related degree.
- Proven experience as a Softwate Tester, Quality Assurance Tester or Quality Control Engineer
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 3 years’ experience in testing applications, software and websites.
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects including visual, functional and performance defects.
- Passionate about quality of products and applications.
- Utilized test planning tools previously including JIRA, TestLink, TestDirector or other similar product.
- Utilized bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla previously.
- Performance test experience is a plus.
- Automation testing experience is a plus.
