Job Description
Collect Needs and draft ERP application requirements.
• Transform business requirements into software design
• Design, Development and testing of Odoo (OpenERP) modules, projects, products and interfaces (Using Python).
• Maintaining existing modules & customize Odoo addons.
• Implementing new features, Create new functional business modules
• Create & customize reports
• Complete and clear documentation for any task/work done.
• Testing of the developed/updated modules.
• Configuration, installation and maintenance of server and multi database Odoo/Ubuntu environments.
• Consistently create quality software that meets specific design and requirements on stated timelines.
• Enhance applications, develop and configure features and functionalities that support business requirements.
• Integrate Odoo with other web applications.
• Setup, maintain and monitor Odoo servers.
• Identify and fix issues related to Odoo development
• Other development tasks in systems developed in Python other than Odoo.
• Improve & optimize the application integration scenarios
• Design / Configure internal infrastructure
• Create & customize reports
• Ensure scalability of the solutions on the company .
• Lead the integration project in association with the implementer.
• Plan software releases
• Manage releases, tags, and versions
• Carry out safe and downtime-proof software releases
• Years of Experience Min. 2 years of experience in Python(Odoo) development
• Experience in integrating Odoo with Other Business Systems.
• Solid expertise with GIT
• Technical and Functional knowledge of Odoo modules and features
• Solid experience of design principles behind a scalable application, data structure, APIs in Odoo
• Knowledge of marketing and customer programs, data, and results
• Familiarity with SaaS solutions, concepts, and business models.
• Communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• Ability to act independently with minimal supervision
Job Requirements
• Must have Python experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
• At least 2 Years of Experience in Developing new Odoo Modules and extension of Odoo framework and its existing modules.
• Good expertise with Linux OS for developing and maintain purposes
• Experience in integrating Odoo with Other Business Systems.
• Should have working knowledge of API's in ODOO.
• Experience in writing Modules for Odoo Web site .
• Experience in HTML, XML, and JQuery.
• Experience in PostgreSQL database.
• Experience in Webkit, RML Report, OpenOffice Reports and Pentaho Report (preferred).
• Experience in using Eclipse or Pycharm IDEs.
• Experience with GITLAB or equivalent source control
• Knowledge of different Project Business cycles.
• Good understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Technical and Functional knowledge of Odoo modules and features
